Managing recipes might be something a casual cook does with a note-taking app or an email folder, but Paprika 3 is the super-powered recipe manager you never thought you needed. Although it’s expensive at $30, it has basically anything you’d ever want out of a cooking app. You can import recipes from competing services like MacGourmet, and export those recipes as weekly meal plans to your calendar, or turn the required ingredient or grocery lists into check lists in Reminders. I’ve had this since the previous version. When I was considering purchasing this app for the first time, I felt it was a little too expensive so I did a lot of research. This ended up being the only one that met my requirements so I grudgingly paid up. Best decision I made. It was worth every cent. I racked up a couple of thousands recipes and it was really easy to search what I needed. Seamless downloads, easy customization of menus, simple UI, pin & switch, multiple grocery lists, etc. Depending on your selection: Recipe - Choose a recipe. PROS: Organize recipes, Meal-planning aids, Grocery lists When you begin editing those fields, a toolbar will appear above the field with helper buttons for inserting (in order) bold, italics, photos, website links, recipe links, and the final button is a help menu with examples of formatting. Adding a timer manually - From the left sidebar, click the Add Timer button. You can choose a name for the timer. Once you have selected a time, press Start to begin the timer.

Get Paprika for iPad here {through Apple app store} Editing Meals From the edit recipe view, click the Photos section to see all photos associated with a recipe. To add a photo from the filesystem, click the + button on the right side of the upper toolbar. You can also right-click on the edit photos screen and choose Add Photo. Photos can be dragged in from other apps, or copied to the clipboard. Once copied to the clipboard, right-click on the edit photos screen and choose Paste Photo. I’ve got even more of these app reviews here on the site, because you guys have all, for various reasons, chosen different ones and sent in reviews. Granted I had the app for probably about 5years by then, and I have sent in a few requests to make it even more user friendly. Be careful what you wish for because it comes at a price. • Multitasking support on iPad.
